Trip for Cuba 10th - 22nd NOV 2017

Cuba is something for me now. 

The first time I dreamed for coming to Cuba was more than 10 years ago. But at that time, I didn’t have money nor time. And now, finally I made it, realized that it was calling for me. I am surprised that all of this perfect timing happened on me after living in Africa for 6 years. 

The Music, Dance, Culture, Religion, Life style, people in Cuba is deeply connected with African Continent, so that I could deeply understand them all. 

But the original source created in Cuba is so fascinated as well. 

In the Music & Dance point of view, the roots of salsa “Casino” was amazing. We must not forget that salsa is the copied dance made by America, but actually the original source and roots was from Cuba. It’s called “casino”.  When I was dancing Son and Bachata etc, I got very deep emotion and even it made me cry. It is such a beautiful music and dance....

I met the great pianist , one of member from”Buena Vista Social Club” , he is 90 years old now and 60 years in music carrier. I was shocked and amazed by his energy! 

Such a beautiful man kind. I would like to grow old like him! 

Afro Cuban spirituality, “Santeria”, was also one of my important journey on this time. There are many life force exist in this world. Those Energies are Orishas. All livings are under Olofi. I was very happy because the Japanese spirituality is also deeply connected with nature, I felt it is very similar. Also it is beautiful that people still take care the sacred ceremony to connect with invisible world to listen to the voice of universe. And I am always with ocean, river, waterfall, it was no surprise that I received the bracelet of Yemaya and Ochun. 

And I was thinking of the strength of  Che in the revolution time in this country. It was great to know that he visited to Hiroshima, my home town in Japan long time ago. He asked Japanese people , “ why you don’t be angry to America though they hurt you all in this horrible way ?” Yes I know.. but blaming will never creating any better world, right ? We need to “ communicate “not repeat the mistake anymore. Love is the only answer. 

This country is filled with full of Music, Dance, Arts, and Love which is what I want always. 

Everything is alive and open. I felt more humanity than other so-called developed country. 

I know that the infrastructure and public sanitation etc. is not good situation, it’s hard to get internet, simple living staff. there are many challenging too. 

But the society is very free, so that people set them free too, they were so kind, walking on the street at night is safe, no stress. Everyone is enjoying and singing on the street. 

Since dance and music is whole my life, dancing training was the main purpose for this trip. 

I danced every day in such a beautiful music with open minded people, i was filled with so much happiness and positive vibration. It gave me more vital energy. Just awesome...

Definitely I will come back to Cuba soon, and develop this calling more.
